Bullritos Rolls into League City

Burrito Franchise Opens 19th Location in the Southeast

League City, Texas – August 21, 2012 – Bullritos, the Houston-based burrito franchise, is opening its 19th restaurant’s doors at 11 a.m. on August 27th, in League City, Texas (1620 FM 646) and calling all local residents to participate to win a year’s worth of burritos.

Bullritos is holding an “unbelievabull” Giveaway at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 25th. This giveaway is a grand opening tradition for all Bullritos franchises, and League City residents will not want to miss it. The first 25 guests at the new location will receive a year’s worth of free burritos (one burrito per week), which has previously resulted in Bullritos fans camping outside the restaurant doors the evening prior to opening.

On Sunday, August 26th, from 3 – 6 p.m., Clear Springs High School’s Student Council will join Bullritos in another one of their traditions, the “charitabull” event. In exchange for a $5 entry fee, patrons will receive a burrito, chips and drink. All proceeds will go directly toward the high school’s efforts, which include but are not limited to Red Ribbon week, monthly community service events, breast cancer awareness efforts, Christmas donations and recycling efforts.

Boasting fresh, high-quality ingredients, this location will feature the classic, “customizabull” Bullritos favorites including Bullritos (burritos), tacos and bowls (burritos without the tortilla), as well as Bullritos’ newest Tex-Mex plates such as their Fajita Plate, Carne Guisada Plate and Tamale Plate.

With its location right in the heart of Victory Lakes, free Wi-Fi and comfortable environment, Bullritos’ quick-casual concept and reasonable price-point appeals to local students and families of Clear Creek ISD that are looking for a comfortable and fun environment.

First-time franchise owner Charles Peek is pleased to bring Bullritos to the booming city of League City. “What originally attracted me to Bullritos was the food- delicious and fresh, and that it’s established by the same team that created Gringo’s Mexican Kitchen.” said Charles Peek. “I’m very involved with the League City Chamber of Commerce, and I look forward to introducing this restaurant to the community as well as Clear Springs High School.”
